What types of contests/events is your dealership having on weekends, for example, to create excitement/better atmosphere and draw in more floor traffic (not referring to salespeople’s spiffs)?
Chris, in May of this year I was a GM of a Toyota store in Minneapolis. We used our CRM tool to reach out to over 12000 customers of ours with a simple letter saying - "sell us your car or trade it in and get a $479 certificate for a free TREK bike". We partnered up with a local bike shop and gave away 227 bikes! Yes, we bought and took 227 trades. It was by far the best promo I have been involved in.
