Salespeople Leveraging Facebook and Linkedin

Do you have any examples of salespeople who are really leveraging Facebook and Linkedin to stay in front of customers, build contacts, and establish greater repeat and referral business?

Chris is a longtime friend who sells Chevy at a sister store where I was years back. Hurry and friend him because he is up to 4992 and I think the cap is 5k. He started 20 or so years ago living in the back of his car when he moved here from up north (boston maybe). Has been a 6-figure salesperson on repeat and referral biz since we met 15 years ago.
