"Deal makers" face the same challenges (negative equity, poor credit, etc) They just don't pass that negative on to the salesperson. Positive attitude (FIND A WAY!) will reflect in your salespeoples attitude towards the customer. Sometimes it takes work to get the deal done. Once a salesperson develops confidence in the manager working their deal, they will become deal makers. As you say..................."A key element to a winning team is to make doing business fun for profit."
Excellent
Great Post Brother!
Great point T.P. - Each is faced with the same scenario, and yet the actions and results are completely different with deal killer vs deal maker.

If you can transform the Deal Killer into the Deal Maker you will have a "bi-winning" team, (as Charlie Sheen might say)..LOL
Really, in al seriousness, the Deal Killer must be a thorn in the Deal Maker's side as well...They are both working towards the same departmental objectives and one is constantly doing all it takes, while the other brings them down, creating friction and animosity within the team!
Fantastic post, Bobby!

Hey Joe, - Congrats on graduating dealer school, a huge accomplishment.
And yes, fun for profit is a lost art for some and never discovered for others. Fun for profit is alive and well for gentleman like you. Keep it up my friend, I would love to hear some of the methods your learnt at dealer school...
Cheers my friend!

Bobby, nice post and true to point. "Make business fun for profit" was a nice touch. Imagine making money and having fun at the same time? Didn't that go out of style a while back :) Needless to say, some of us truly enjoy the business of selling for profit.
