ROLE: Dealer Liaison Executive (Automotive Retail)
SALARY: Competitive salary + car allowance + commission
LOCATION: Southern Germany (home based, ideally Stuttguart/Bavaria)
The Role:
As Dealer Liaison Executive for an international provider of market intelligence, your role will be to develop relationships and long term agreements with vehicle dealers throughout the south of Germany to supply the company with automotive data. As well as developing a panel of dealers to work with, you will provide support to major customers with regards to any customer service or technical issues with the company's bespoke software. Our client is seeking a PC literate (MS Office including Word and Excel) sales professional with experience within the automotive industry with the dealerships.
The Company:
An international marketing research company that specialises in collecting and researching Automotive prices, specifications, options, fitment rates, incentives and volumes and registration data. Data is mainly collected directly from the vehicle manufacturers, however data also needs to be collected directly from dealers to provide an alternative source and confirm data already received.
Responsibilities include:
Creation, maintenance, and development of relationships with dealer groups and/or individual dealers as necessary in order to fulfil company incentive data requirements.
Conclude formal or agreements with individual dealers or dealer groups which secure the supply of incentives data to the company.
Identify and arrange to be put in place those products or services which the company needs to provide to secure dealer agreement to provide supply of data. Each deal may be unique, with specific requirements.
Ensure that the required data is supplied to the incentives team in a timely and efficient manner, reporting progress regularly to company management.
Ensure that the company has multiple data sources for all major brands.
Provide support to major accounts with regards to any customer services or technical issues with regards to the company's bespoke software
The ideal candidate:
Sales professional that has worked with automotive retail/dealerships
Clear understanding of retailing and pricing processes within automotive dealerships
Full understanding of the dealer vehicle retailing process.
Excellent relationship-builder from cold-call onwards, comfortable and professional with relationships at all levels.
Able to prioritise workloads and respond to tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and self-disciplined, able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Innovative in developing creative solutions for contributing dealers.
Knowledge of MS Office, (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
