1. Believe

2. Empathize
Believing in yourself and what you're doing is good and bad: Just respect what other people believe and why they believe it.
Good sales consultants have the uncanny ability to see the world through their customer’s eyes. You have to believe in your products, so when you present your vehicle it has to be something that customers believe in.
3. Observe
Great sales consultants are observers of human nature and human behavior. They pay attention to patterns that guide people's lives and the activities that bring them pleasure.
Therefore, if you want to create a persona or service that people will love, keep your eyes and ears open. When you hear somebody curse or swear because an existing product or service sucks, that's where there's money to be made.
4. Obsess
Great sales consultants are fanatics about improving their presentations and improving the "customer experience". They never rest on their laurels they'll spend extraordinary time and effort simply to get things right.
Thus, if you want to be successful in the automotive sales industry, you must pay attention to every element, every process, and every stage of your presentation or service. No detail is to small that it escapes your notice.
