Digital Marketing SpecialistWorks to implement website marketing techniques, Basic Search and Lead Management processes reflecting proven best practices, process improvement plans, training personnel on the use of all necessary reporting tools, utilizing adult learning methodologies. Establish and maintain assigned Regional OEM and dealership relationships. Analyze current eBusiness state and consult with senior Regional and dealership personnel regarding strategy, tactics, roles and responsibilities. Serve as the Digital eBusiness expert for OEM Regional staff, partner with them to achieve program and aligned regional goals. Knowledge areas:

Principal duties & responsibilities
- Maintain thought leadership competiveness of interactive marketing and sales industry trends by staying current via continuous learning.
- Establish and maintain assigned Regional relationships, managing relationships to ensure positive feedback from dealers, OEM Regional Management and travelers, developing trust and value.
- Act as the Digital eBusiness consultant to Regional personnel and Dealership executive management, driving acceptance of Digital eBusiness principles and practices throughout the Region and dealership.
- Lead the implementation of Lead Management, website marketing, lead management tool use, and Basic Search techniques reflecting proven best practices.
- Work to ensure comprehensive course content meets all dealer needs and builds the competencies required to ensure dealers are successful in Lead Management and website marketing implementation.
- Provide training on Cobalt products, program specifics and associated OEM Digital eBusiness products utilizing adult learning methodologies.
- Develop, coach and monitor implementation of Lead Management/website process improvement plans and use of all necessary reporting tools for dealership and Regional personnel understanding.
- Become familiar with OEM Digital eBusiness related programs to be able to confidently review the benefits and features for dealership management assessment.
- Communicate pro-actively with Region and dealers on program progress through e-mail, phone and in-store visits providing feedback and recommendations relative to product performance.
- Attend regional dealer and field staff meetings, delivering presentations at OEM sponsored meetings and seminars, as requested, utilizing effective presentation and facilitation skills.
- Provide reports as directed by Manager, submitting internal reports, expenses, and timecard entries prior to deadlines, accountable for accurate and timely record keeping and data delivery for all dealers and initiatives within assigned Region.
Experience and Education
- 2+ years OEM specific Digital eBusiness Trainer with comprehensive knowledge of National and Regional programs, familiarity with Regional management personnel and structure.
- 4+ years automotive retail experience and working knowledge of OEM automotive dealership structure and business processes.
- 3+ years progressively responsible work experience, with a minimum of 3+ years of consulting experience in an automotive environment, prior experience in training techniques and adult learning theories.
- Strong relationship building results, with OEM Corporate, Regional office and dealership personnel.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software applications, principles and of OEM automotive Digital eBusiness practices.
- Knowledge of basic computer operations, internet or application service provider (ASP) platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
- Proven to handle all customer situations with a professional tone and manner.
- Motivated self-starter, able to manage and work independently in a Region or remote/home office.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
