The OEM Regional Digital Marketing Manager will represent the interests of the regional OEM client, the Agency of Record, and DAA in design, execution of online channel and brand marketing promotions, and issue resolution at the regional level.
Essential Functions
- Establish and maintain assigned OEM regional relationships as subject matter expert for all digital elements and Cobalt products and services
- Provide support and direction that allows the OEM personnel to take ownership of the Digital Package.
- Participate as a subject matter expert in brand campaign promotions and OEM management meetings to insure campaigns are designed for effective online execution and measurement at the regional/local level
- Achieve promotions objectives as determined by the Regional Marketing Manager per promotion for your respective Region.
- Advocate utilization of the online marketing capabilities of the OEM Digital Program and ProCare Advocates in order to deliver on regional and local needs
- Represent OEM & dealer interests into the design of digital elements (e.g. dealer promotion design & content)
- Provide issue resolution and coaching on OEM Digital Program elements and Cobalt products and program specifics by coordinating account activities with other Cobalt departments in a positive manner.
- Act as the e-Business Specialist to Regional personnel, Agency of Record, and dealership executive management, handling issue resolution and explanation of accepted e-Business principals and practices.
- Implement strategy for continuous improvement and overall regional and local marketing effectiveness
- Communicate pro-actively with Regions and District Managers on the OEM Digital Program status by providing presentations and metrics. In addition, be able to create and present the OEM Digital Program material to DAA’s or individual dealers at the request of the OEM client.
- Create incremental opportunities by extending regional and local marketing digital footprint into additional media and emerging marketing channels
- Build a trusted and collaborative relationship with agency management
- Work to ensure that program content meets all Dealer needs and leads to success in website marketing, basic Search and advertising planning.
- Attend Regional and dealer staff meetings, deliver and facilitate OEM-sponsored seminars and meetings, demonstrating effective presentation and coaching skills.
- Account for accurate and timely record keeping and data delivery for all dealers and initiatives within assigned Region and programs, submitting internal reports, expenses and timecard entries prior to deadlines, as directed by Manager and/or Director.
Experience and Education
- 5 years automotive related experience, OEM or agency experience preferred
- 7-10 years sales experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
