In this role, your primary responsibility will be the delivery of sales training curricula. This includes our sales new hire programs and sales proficiencies, as well as sales tools training to produce highly competent, confident, and successful sales people capable of achieving sales quotas.

This role entails:

  • Delivering/updating training courses/sessions
  • Training and facilitating at meetings such as NADA, Annual Sales Kickoff, and region roll calls (20% travel)
  • Designing and developing curriculum with the Manager of Sales Education
  • Continuous consulting with current sales representatives and marketing teams to better understand the marketplace and competition and proactively assist in planning training strategies
  • Working with the field subject matter experts (sales, operations, and marketing) to strategize/outline courseware design and content
  • Taking the initiative to investigate/research and recommend new and different delivery methods to better engage the participants and maximize learning

Successful Sales Trainers will possess/demonstrate:

  • BS in Business Administration or Marketing or related field experience
  • 5-8 years prior training and teaching (classroom) experience required
  • Bilingual French or Spanish speaking skills a plus
  • Ability to learn/understand the ADP solutions and how they are best sold in the field
  • Excellent presentation and platform skills as well as organizational abilities
  • A thorough understanding of sales processes and sales skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ADP sales experience and dealership or automotive industry background preferred
