They have to be worked properly. They should be worked thru the new car and used car desk. Manager should make the first call to these customers addressing the trade in. Doing it this way and at the time forgetting about selling them a car to replace their trade reinforces what they sent the lead in for in the first place. Naturally if you buy the trade they are going to replace it. Going after the appt. to inspect the car is primary, not the car sale. Once there you have a better chance of closing the sale.
Skip,

I set up a designed process for the TIM program. I have sold a coluple however I belive that additional cost can be applied somewhere else. The national close ratio on TIM lead is 2% and the number one close ratio is VAN TUYL @ 4%.. I am dropping TIM
Is the breakdown on the figure for their car, generally? How desirable are the vehicles they are brining in? It could be looked at as two closes: one on "buying" their car and one on selling them yours.

Just looking for anything else concrete on the program stats to date. How about "Buying Centers" --- anyone out there a "Buying Center" and, if so, how many are you able to close and actually buy the car?

Thanks for any input.
the radius that was set was at 50 miles. I didn't set this program up, I know that the program is designed to bring in trades rather than car deals however I had a total of 120 a month filtering through my CRM. I have gone through the leads they are awkward requests and weird vehicles to be traded-in. Is anyone out there actually performing with TIM?
