When people really begin to understand that you are not just trying to sell them they will talk to you and tell you about the kids if they have dogs the dog’s name etc. You must be fully comfortable within yourself before you can be effective in communicating with others. By making your customers feel comfortable they feel that you are not just trying to slam them into a vehicle they start to listen and you will listen better so you would better understand their needs.


When we really listen, we build trust. Listening makes us more approachable, and your customers will believe you and keep an open mind and that you'll both hear and understand them. Customers know when you're faking it so you need to be real. We need to be better.


You have to build trust first with your customers! Once you build a trusting relationship you will be able to contribute in meaningful ways if not you fail. It's our responsibility to ensure a culture of trust exists, which invites and rewards your opinions and innovative ideas.


When you are real your customers will listen because you will let them understand that you believed in your product. What I’m saying is when you become a friend, someone they could trust also a friendly consultant.


People don't mind if the vehicle does not or have a few extra things as long as it had the things that mattered. Because they trust and like you and you are like family.


You have to touch people it helps to break down barriers. Have you notice when you go to the Dr. the first thing they do is touch you it is because it helps to build a bond of trust, something you cannot put a price on.


People don't buy what you do; they buy YOU so do it right. The goal is not to do business with everybody who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe and what you do simply serves as the proof of what you believe.
