Although I want quality sales people and managers at a dealership, how much should hiring local people count in the hiring decision? It's a no different concept than buying from local farmers and being involved in the local community. This also extends to not overlooking that your tax dollars stay local. While it's nice to get people outside the closest dealership(s), I live in a place where 2/3 of all cars are purchased by residents outside the city. We have 11 new makes, but no luxury ones.
