TV Integration Considered a Success
In an informal test at GM of Murfreesboro, the sound was off on the screen and people were simply reading the paper and magazine. Once sound was added, people would not stop looking at the screen. It was on an abdominal infomercial - not something usually worthy of full attention.
The Digital Dealership System located in the Customer Lounge has the television integrated in the secondary zone in the upper left. While in this position, the primary zone is still able to highlight graphics of promotions, car features and service specials.
When asked before and after sound was added, the customers said they were paying attention to the advertisements while glancing at and listening to the infomercial. (the channel was changed shortly after)
