I am not new to the world of sales. However, I am new to internet auto sales. I am looking to get some of the Do's and Don't's from people who have the experience.

Just a few things I have learned over the many years

Some basic ones first

- Exceed expactations, get to the newest leads first....if they are 8 hours old, go for the one hour old ones first
- Pay attention to the "name" is it a man or a women? Women have different shopping habbits then men. Learn them and close more business
- Track your lead sources for close ratios. You want to focus on good sources, right?
- Build your brand - if you are working those leads amke sure they know you when they get to the dealership
Step#1: With Warm, Friendly, and Inviting Words; Convert email inquiries into Phone Calls.

Step#2: With Sincere, Informative, and Professional Language; Convert phone calls to Appointments.

Step #3: Be Genuine, Helpful, and Polite; Convert Appointments into Fans of You and the Service You Provide. (Some will Buy from You now, and some will in the future - and that's okay: Just Make sure they are all Fans of You "Today".)

Step #4: Convert Fans into Friends By Staying in Touch, and by Really Caring about them. Give this process time to work for you; and soon, you will have all the business you can handle by repeat and referral clients; and you will no longer need to count on your internet position to provide you with "Leads". From there, set your own schedule and step back onto the floor.

(Rinse, Wash, Repeat.)
