Hi, we're an independent dealership purchasing a repair shop that's currently in business. We are due to take over on April 1st. Our DMS for selling cars is Auto Manager/Desk Manager. I was wondering what's the best approach to use to let our customers who've purchased cars from me in the last 8 years, know that we've now got a service department and that we can do maintenance. I've got a good amount of repeat business built up already and I want to be able to target pretty much everyone I've done business with since I started with the company.
How do I go about this? How do these companies work? Do I just give them access to our DMS and they will send out mailers to them? I'm worried about privacy concerns using third party companies, any advice on who to use/who to avoid is greatly appreciated as well as what type of costs to expect as well.
Any other advice is appreciated.
