Trade Appraisal - Old School VS New School
Old School:
When I started in the car business we were trained to keep the trade keys so that the customer would have to talk to the Sales Manager before they left. Hold the customer in their seat as they would say!
New School:
I suggest upon the completion of the demonstration of a customers vehicle to "immediately" give the trade keys back! No holding customers hostage.
Customers recognize such a professional approach and will appreciate this tailored technique!
