Many people don’t. Back when VCRs were the next big thing (and setting the VCR clock became a 2-hour chore)… there were two VCR formats: VHS and Beta. By all accounts, Beta was better. It had far better picture quality, and its cassettes were smaller and more portable. Yet through better marketing, VHS enjoyed a 90% market share. And Beta quietly disappeared.
