Any way I can help Nancy!!!
Women will tell you they want to be treated the same as your male client's. This simply isn't true. We need to be listened to, reassured and sold with full details. Men are more direct and to the point while women react better to presentations that engage an emotion about the product
.
Mat - you are so right - do not let them regret coming to your dealership. If only everyone could make that their mission. I thought you would appreciate an interesting fact by the Wharton School Study, when women are treated with the same level of respect as a man, she will leave disappointed. You see that study shared that women want more than men when it comes to purchasing. More talk time, more attention, more eye contact, etc...
Hopefully you can participate in my teleclass this Wednesday at noon est. 712-432-0075 access 242161#.
Good luck! Sounds like you a step ahead- - Delia

My 2 cents is simply this. Women and Men deserve the same level of intention and integrity. Gender, race, etc., shouldn't make a difference in how you treat a customer because EVERY customer deserves to be treated with respect.
Remember, they could have gone to any dealership and they are at yours so don't make them regret it.

Hi Folks,
Best tip, if you need advice about selling to the women buyer, you need advise about selling to the man,
Hi Delia,
I think we can drop Women and say Clients,Customers. Do Men love dirty and unfriendly dealerships? I don't think so.
It reminds me of something I came across in a Ford dealership in 1975, we need the dealership perfect for the guys from Ford next Tuesday and it still goes on today in dealerships and not just Ford dealerships.
Lets have our dealerships perfect everyday for Male Female Fat Thin Tall Short etc., these humans pay our salaries, feed our familes and keep dealerships open, lets respect them all.

Women love a clean and family friendly dealership. So pay attention to the details and keep it clean, meaning neat and female friendly bathrooms, women magazine in the waiting areas, and of course well dressed sales associates!
You're right Pat - if you meet the needs of women you will exceed those of men! This came out of a Wharton Study. Thought you would appreciate this, we do tons of mystery shops and many at dealerships. We are twice as likely to receive a complaint from a women about lack of women's magazines to read in the service area, or a dirty glass left on a table, or the guy had a dirty tie, or the bathrooms were not well stocked - haven't heard this from a guy in a long time...so yes we need to make sure both sexes are addressed, just that women are far more particular about the little things that don't matter as much to men. You guys are lucky!
