The Commercial and Fleet Sales Manager contacts local commercial accounts to build sales and service relationships between the dealership and the customer. The CAM also conducts consultative interviews with customers to identify needs, vehicle usage requirements and preferences and to respond to customer concerns, and takes the lead in keeping lines of communication open between the Commercial, F&I and service departments in the dealership.
We also expect the following from our team members:
Prospects for commercial sales/service business.
Builds relationships with commercial customers.
Fosters teamwork with customers and colleagues.
Plans and executes prospecting/sales activities.
Conducts vehicle sales activities including face-to-face selling.
Conducts business-to-business marketing activities.
Understands and offers Commercial Lease Plus, Quality Fleet Care and Extended Service Plans.
Completes BPN Training Certification.
Ensures a high-quality, effective and professional buying experience for customers.
Conducts consultative interviews with customers to identify needs, vehicle usage requirements and preferences and to respond to customer concerns.
Establishes knowledge base regarding all products, services, customer demographics or profiles, and competitive automotive makes and models.
Establishes knowledge base of commercial upfits to assist customers with vehicle purchase.
Maintains adequate commercial vehicle inventory (60 days supply) through dealership allocation and use of authorized pool account inventories.
Meets on a regular basis with dealership management to discuss current and long-term commercial inventory opportunities.
Ensures all sales are reported on a timely basis.
Ensures that the BPN Dealer Demo Program and Show them
Ensures commercial vehicles are prominently displayed for drive-by or walk-in traffic.
