Tell me a story about the co-worker who most impressed you?

It is a discussion but I didn't start this thread because anyone is impressed 'big fish'/12 pounder stories. Tell me who impressed you with skill or character.

It was 1996. I can remember being a greenbean closer after a year or so in the business and I'm standing at the Sales Desk working a deal with the GSM, Jeff Serio. The F&I director burst in and drops a huge stack of deals on Jeff's desk and says, "See, I told you. We need all these cars back. They are flat TD's!!" and then storms out. Jeff didn't miss a beat. He just looked at me and said, "Lane, there is a fine line between a lot of talent and a lot of Bull$***".

Then he picked up the phone, called the buyer and got 13 of them approved as called and one trimmed way back. Oh, there were 15 deals in the stack. I can think of plenty of other stories, but wanted to kick us off with that one.
