Let me tell you a quick story. I was out and about today grabbing lunch, running by the bank and stopping to get some liquid crack (Rockstar) and gas. I was driving into the Chevron station when I notice this Ford Escape driving out with their gas cap hanging down and the fuel door open. We all know what happens if you drive like that, right? Check engine light comes on. Well, I couldn't let someone drive out seeing that, so I flag the guy down and let him know his gas tank is still open. I then proceed to pull up to the pump and get out of the car. Guess who drives up. Yup, the guy I flagged down. His name is Danny Camarena and he is a Realtor. He thanks me for letting him know about his gas cap then proceeds to hand me his card and tells me if I ever need help in the housing market or if I know anyone, please feel free to give him a call. He didn't know who I was or that I would be posting this, but it caught my attention. When was the last time a sales PROFESSIONAL did that to you? When was the last time you handed someone your card? Interesting, you have one of three ways that could be answered, you are trying to remember the last person you handed your card to or you said, "I do it always," or you just said, "I never do that." Well, do it! You never know who you are giving that card to or what impact it will have on that person.
So this is for Danny, one, for having the courtesy to thank me and two, for having the stones to hand me his card. If you ever need assistance in NorCal for a house, call Danny Camarena @ 916-480-8687.If you ever need help with a car anywhere in the US, call me!
Happy Selling
