Many of our states require that if you advertise a price anywhere you honor it whether it is asked for or not. I respect this, as I do business in the manner I would like to be dealt with as a consumer. If the last several years have shown us anything, it is you must at least be competitively priced in your market on the internet.
If you think your customers are not comparing your inventory with your competitors you are burying your head in the sand my friend. Last month I ran 3768 a copy, however about 800 of that was in under allowance of trades, not in my selling price. I have found if you can justify your price, and justify a trade, the customer feels they are more in control. Lets face facts, winning is not important, perception is.
God Bless, and happy selling....
Matt
I don't know if I can speak for most shoppers, but if something has no price listed I keep looking until I can find what I am looking for with a price. Customers all love getting a deal. Would it be too difficult to list the "Blue Book" value then Your Price? I think you might find that you are going to start getting more calls on your ads..
Just a suggestion.
