How did you specifically hear about DealerELITE? If referred, who?

Not everyone gets approved for DealerELITE. To maintain the integrity of DealerELITE, tell us what you will have to offer once a dealerELITE member?
There is a wealth of knowledge in this industry and due to the competitive nature of the car biz, we rarely have an opportunity to share our suggestions, knowledge and successes with others in our profession. After ten years as an F&I Manager, I realized that the best learning resources were within those professionals practicing their skills and techniques every day in the field, presenting their products, overcoming objections, and closing sale after sale. This is a perfect opportunity to converse with other automotive professionals.

I thank you for joining. Chris really wanted a place for the top people in this business to gather. Chris knows everyone, and I just created this site.

Sorry. Chris Saraceno. I always just assume he has connected with eveyrone here. Chris is the VP to our dealer group and seems to have connections to anyone influential to the auto industry. Where in Canada are you?

Cathy your exactly right it is tough to leave I think it is something that is engrained in people like us. I started going to Manheim Auto Auction when I was about 9 years old and it just became a part of who I am. I graduated college in 94 and took a job as a salesman thinking it would be temporary how mistaken I was...hahaha Anyway it's a pleasure to meet you hope all is well up there in Victoria!! :)

Better late then never! Forgot I had this site until today. So I'm back to comment on your question. Sensible Driver develops e-mail programs (sales and service) with video, RSS feeds and integrated content uploaded to social media sites, including Facebook to drive in current and attract new customers.

Hi Cathy, thanks for the kind words. Just a point, it's Ontario, California...not Canada.

Hello and thanks for adding me as a friend! I appreciate your kind words. I just wanted to say hi and answer your questions. May I give you a brief introduction to who I am and what I do. But first I would like to hear from you as well and help your business grow. If I had someone who was interested in your service, what would you like me to say?

My name is Fred Slabine, and I’m president of Automotive Training & Development. I’ve been in the automotive industry for more than 35 years I founded ATD because I wanted to give back to the industry that has treated me so well. I enjoy assisting our dealerships accelerate their sales and profits, while also giving our trainees the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to make a great living selling vehicles and serving customers well.

Briefly, ATD provides recruitment and sales training services for automotive dealerships, as well as for marine, RV, and motorcycle dealerships. We train both new hires and seasoned veterans, because we know that even experienced salespeople need a boost from time to time. Like most training companies, we teach the key steps to a sale, but we also focus on other crucial topics like building trusting relationships, actively listening, maintaining a positive mental attitude, smiling and making others smile, and engaging in continuous learning. If you want to learn more about our philosophy and services, please check out our website at www.automotivetraining.us.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail or call me. I would like to hear from you as well.

Thanks in advance for your interest. I look forward to chatting with you soon.

    Best regards,

    Fred G. Slabine
