Jim,

I love the photo. I was a wrestler in high school, and some people have missed out on the experience of going one-on-one in front of a large crowd of people. Many mistakenly believe that what makes a champion is "one who never loses"... But for those who have been there, they know – it's not "champions never lose" – it's "champions never quit".

 

PS:  I used to read this poem years ago, and just realized the new truths I see in it in my own life...

 

He worked by day
And toiled by night.

He gave up play
And some delight.

Dry books he read,
New things to learn.

And forged ahead,
