6 Types of Content to Make Your Website POP

We Work Hard and Spend a lot to get People to Visit Our Dealership

Then What?

What is:           $20,000,000,000+?

That is the amount of money the automotive industry spends a year on advertising getting people into the dealership, to talk with a salesperson and sell millions of vehicles in the same year!

When I started we sold about 28% of walk-in traffic now the dealer only sells 15% of walk-in traffic. It seams to me the only one that is doing better is the advertising industry.

Communication Is Key For Service Productivity

I think we can all agree, good communication is key to healthy personal relationships.  Its no different when it comes to relationships between a dealership and their customers.  A good example, sales professionals who stay in contact and effectively communicate with their customers during and especially after the sale will always be the top performers.  By staying connected, they are building long-term relationships which will result in future benefits.  For the sales professional, those…

Dealers Should Not Follow Everyone Who Follows them on Twitter

TK Twitter Following

One of the biggest old-school truths that is obsolete today is the idea that you should follow everyone on Twitter that follows you. It was once considered “social media polite” to follow just about everyone who took the time to follow your own updates. This never included spammers or bots, of course, but when real people and companies followed yours,…

Why @Triberr Won Me Over the Second Time Around

Triberr When I first explored Triberr over a year ago, I ran away quickly. It seemed to be an automated tool that took over my social media profiles and posted on my behalf in ways that I absolutely refuse to submit to, even on Twitter where a person’s feed is given a bit more leeway. People would post something…

5 ways to post to Facebook that keep it fresh (and 5 tools to avoid)

Buffer

Facebook purists will pan this post. They will say that the best way to post to Facebook is to post whatever you’re doing or thinking right now, that “planning” posts is not only insincere but that it undermines the point of Facebook altogether. Their points are valid and noted. Now, let’s talk about reality.

Busy people who have their own social media…

Arrive shouting 'man...what a ride!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally used up and worn out, shouting '...man, what a ride!'

If You're Doing Facebook Right as a Business, There Will be Haters

Haters

There’s always a risk when it comes to aggressive advertising and marketing that many are unwilling to take. On television, radio, search, and display ads, there will be those who do not appreciate what you’re putting in front of them. On social, this is greatly amplified because people have the ability to respond.

It is nearly impossible to post…

Google Webmaster Messaging Stats

You know who just won't stop bothering Webmasters? Google. Those guys are always updating things and sending out alerts. In fact, the sultans of search send out hundreds of thousands of messages to Webmasters every single month.
