Regardless of the vendor marketing slants regarding social media and digital marketing, it is clear that the automotive industry needs to invest in educating their employees on digital marketing. Dealer principals and executives must be able to lead their dealership in the digital age.
Equally as important is the need to attract the next generation of automotive sales and marketing professionals. Most billion dollar industries have established Internships and educational programs for skills enhancement. Somehow many car dealers never got that memo.
The Automotive Marketing Boot Camp is scheduled April 16-18th in Orlando. Dealer principals attend 20 Group meetings 3-4 times a year. However, the front lines eCommerce Directors and Internet Sales Teams rarely get the opportunity to learn from their peers and attend educational events. This has to change.
PCG has responded to feedback from our February Digital Marketing Strategies Conference in Napa Valley and we will be have beginner and experienced tracks for the Boot Camp workshops.
