u can train and consult, but have you ever been in the cockpit? If not then i am not intersted!
I believe most of the contributors in the forums as well as trainers and consultants who handle social media would agree with me that posting inventory IN ANY WAY on your facebook wall is a bad idea. Social media is about conversing and engaging with your customers, not spamming them with your inventory. I have 8 years experience in retail in sales, e-commerce and sales management, over 2 years with vendors and I've worked for Dealer magazine, the Digital Dealer Conference and DrivingSales. I've handled social media for many of the major automotive events in the last couple of years so, to answer your question, yes, I'm "really in the car business".
I'm not afraid to speak my mind, though, whether that's in support of something or the opposite.
FYI Arnold,
This isn't an IDEA, it is a practice currently in use and successful for most of my dealers, very helpful to the consumer for the salesman to post a vehicle of interest on their wall so they can look over the vehicle in the leisure of their home... by the way , r u really in the car business? Your comments are always aggressively hostile...
In reading your post again, it answered my own question. Sorry but that is the stupidest idea I have ever heard of. You wont have "increased awareness and a rise in traffic". What you will have is less friends.
I like the creativity. However I always considered it spam when someone else posted on my wall. I have blocked people before for similar things. Help me understand this concept. Thanks.
Are you suggesting that dealers should post videos of their inventory to their Facebook page's wall and/or to their friend's wall directly?
