My business card has my title on it: Customer Advocate and Internet Marketing Visionary. It's the visionary talking to you right now, and like so many posts I've seen here on D.E. Of late, I think this is going to turn into a question.
Two groups I would like to focus my marketing efforts on are as you can guess are one; Baby Boomers, and two; the LGBT segment.
78 million Boomers were born in the twenty years starting in 1945, and starting in 2010, the first of them started to retire. These are all people who were at the height of their productive lives right smack in the in the middle of the realization of the “American Dream.”
O.K. and what about the L.G.B.T. crowd? I’m not sure exactly how this is, but these people seem to have down payments, clean trades, and somewhat more reasonable expectations. Regardless of why it is, if I look back on my dealings over the years, Gays and Lesbians have almost always been a deal.
So, where am I going with this? I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas. I would like to open a discussion. Am I the only one who is thinking along these lines? Have I missed something? I would love to hear from anyone who has anything to contribute.
