"If you can't paint by number, you are probably not called to redecorate the Sistine Chapel."

Don't live a life of frustration by insisting on doing what God has not gifted you to do. If you love baseball but can't hit, throw or catch better than most everyone else... Study the game, evaluate its strategy and become a coach, equipment manager or team sponsor. Fulfill your destiny by either "doing" what you love or "enabling others" to do what you love! You can remain a vital part of God's purpose by serving those who are gifted.

While you may never paint like a renaissance artist or play baseball like a pro, you can develop the gifts God has given you as well as facilitate the development of gifts in those around you. We improve ourselves and others by focus, preparation, application and discipline.

In the process remember... It is healthy to wish you could do things that are out of your grasp. That's why we who can't sing enjoy the music of those who can. It's also why people visit the Empire State Building or the pyramids. Because we are amazed by the accomplishment of others... And it inspires dreams in our own life. Dream on friends! Check out the parable of the talents... The only one who lost out was the guy who buried his gift. Fulfill your purpose by using, developing and improving your gifts and partnering with others to maximize the gifts in people around you.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey!
