Martha Washington... “I’m determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may be. I’ve learned that the greater part of happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”
That sounds just like Paul in Philippians
4:12... “I have learned
[to be] content in…every situation.”
If you want to go from surviving to thriving, make the most of where God has placed you. Life is constantly taking us to new opportunities. Gold is not "found" at the jewelry store or the mint...It comes from the ground or a stream and has to be discovered, refined and then shaped by an artisan to be made precious. That's exactly how success is achieved... One discovers then chooses to pursue, his or her calling, prepares for the adventure, equips themselves for the search, discovers the mine, stream or "field of endeavor" and then puts their shoulder to the task!
This is when God begins to reveal Himself in your mission. It's not as simple as winning life's lottery. For most of us it's a daily dose of faithfulness and a lot of hard work, determination and persistently pressing on. Hey, it's an adventure! Get out there and mine your potential as you enjoy the journey!
