I wanted to get some feedback and opinions regarding education and the role that it plays with the quality of positive people that we have in the sales industry. I am really happy to see how Brian Pasch is utilizing the importance of education and implementing this for us in the auto industry. Much respect to you Brian!

I am not sure if this is only my own personal experience or if my thoughts are correct regarding the lack of motivational influences during our college and education years. I do not remember any specific person that even tried to stress and convey the importance of having a positive outlook and believe in the "real world". In my eyes and in my opinion the positivity and true inner self belief is the most important aspect to having a successful and thriving sales person and or business. I can only wish that I had anyone during my college years to try and impact my thoughts and motivations. The only thing that I remember that got me excited was knowing when the next party or Keg would be around.

The future of our industry and the successes yet to be accomplished lies in the hands of the younger generation. Is there anyone that feels that this is so needed in order to really attain the best possible people and goal oriented individuals we all seemingly need and sometimes pray for? Why is it that there are no individuals and groups that focus and target the education establishments? If i only had the tools and mind set that I have now, who knows where my life would have turned already at this point.

We live in a society and country that seemingly focuses to much on "what we are not". In my opinion life is ever changing and hard enough already that the least we can ask and thrive for is to better our future sales professionals and possible auto industry people to excel in ways we could not. Impacting a young adults mind and life is challenging to begin with by itself. What if we could change and impact 5 out of 100 educated young adults into more positive individuals and the self worth tools that we all deserve? I just find it so hard to believe that focus towards education and positive motivation is nowhere to be found on that level. We can not complain about finding motivated people without thinking about the lack of motivational sales teachings on or around educational institutions. I wonder how different things will be for many of us and for the country in general if we actually invested some good time and money to this.

I would feel like I make a million dollars a year, most successful individual in the world if I knew I had the power to affect, change and help at that level. Just some thoughts. We forget the core and the root of the human mind. Not every single person grows up with a role model or a positive influence in their life. Even when we do have that positive influence not every single person has the education level or understanding or time to really drive it home. Just saying!
