Has anything really changed but the price?

1928 CAR REPAIR MAILER.
AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR ADVERTISEMENT IN 1928...
SENT ON A PENNY POSTCARD

I thought this was awesome!!!!!!!  The concept is the same now a days, stay in front of customers and tell them what value you can provide and how easy it is.   Hope you enjoy this like I did.

Andrew.. it would be interesting to see what would happen to mail that same letter today....  Just change the obvious.  Whht do you think might happen?

They ARE more informed, but the calls to action are the same, and they never made up their mind based on actual information anyway! It ALWAYS takes a salesmen! ( or a crafty "salesletter" sometimes)

Unfortunately we still send out mailers like this, it's the old cliche' "Keep doing the same things and expecting different results!" Consumers today are different then they were back then. They are more informed.

Even though the cars have changed it shows that if something works; even 84 years later... keep doing it we don't have to reinvent the wheel ...
