June was a good month for the automotive industry. June is National Safety Month. Plus some fun trivia did you know on June 15, 1844 Charles Goodyear was granted a patent for rubber vulcanization? Then on June 16, 1903 Ford Motor Company was founded. Imagine what would our cars look like with out today’s tires and the first Model-T.
Have you spoken to your automotive marketing agency about ways you can highlight how safe your vehicles are? Does your dealership offer safety awareness: proper way to install a chid seat, how to install pet harness etc. Consider videos on ways to escape the vehicle if it is underwater (check out Mythbuster’s episode very informative), why it is necessary to leave windows cracked if someone (even an animal) is inside. Discuss with your automotive advertising agency how to showcase the safety of the vehicles like what does an air bag look like how hard do you have to crash speed force etc to make it go off. Make the most of what is available to you, the dealer, and use that National Safety Month.
