Last year I took a hard look at all my processes in a attempt to find the one thing that could increase my gross over $100,000 for the 2013 year. I noticed we were falling very short on alignments. We were over charging and under selling. I focused on this and completely revamped the process. We lowered our door rate, lowered our tech pay and set goals and reviewed them on a daily basis.Each consultant has a monthly goal and we meet for 15 minutes before each day to see where they stand current, how many they sold the day before and how many they are going to sell today. By holding this team meeting and sharing our numbers we have increased our alignments to over 180 per month which came with a $188,000 in additional Gross. Our process is built to offer every customer an alignment every 15,000 miles or 1 year. We do it at walk around and show the reasons and benefits of the alignment. We went from doing 2 alignments per day to over 180 per month with some months over 200. We did have to purchase a second rack but was well worth the money. It has now become part of our culture.
I am reviewing right now what we will be doing for the 2014 year that will also give us a $100,000 increase in Gross!
