You can do lots of things without spending a lot of money. When its slow, you have less money, but more time. To get the conversation started I've listed a few ideas that are effective and mostly FREE. 

Become a great farmer: “Prepare for Spring, by managing Winter”

Things you can do with little or No Money!

Drop Box campaigns:

Purchase 25 drop boxes and work with local business to set up on their counters.

Check in weekly to retrieve your leads – tie the business into an incentive or special promotion .

Network Like crazy:

Go to group meetings, Leads groups, Chamber of commerce events,

Do group presentations for any group you can, Talk it up everywhere!

Personal network:

Friends, family, sports clubs,

Create buckets of opportunity: 

What do I sell and who can use it (Family vehicles– Work trucks – Sporty models - Value priced)

Create a targeted prospect list for each bucket and go to work.

Example (Colleges / Universities /  High Schools: provide a program for local students – offer special assistance become a “Buyers Broker”.

Email Newsletters

Local Business:

Automotive needs – Let them know you are their to service them.

Anyone that you do business with:

Is an ideal candidate to ask for their business (include a note with your payment – pay for a service, hand them a card)

Employee groups with large corporations: 

Become the “go to guy / Expert” HR departments are always looking new and unique employee benefits to provide to their employees.

Content to add to their newsletter, websites or paycheck envelope (service coupons, VIP discount specials for their employees only),  Provide informational lunch meetings for their employees (safety tips, special financing ideas) Get Creative!
