In the sales business, the success of our day is usually determined by the foot traffic or phone and internet enquiry into our dealership. 

 

But then what do we do on quiet days, and how can we make them as successful as the busy days?

 

Let me first say that your success is not just determined by the amount of sales you make from your enquiry today, but it is the activity you do today that will lead to tomorrow’s sale.

 

So here is today’s challenge for you!

 

Set yourself my 5 - 5 - 5 goal

 

5 x Unsold Follow Up Calls/Emails/SMS - Clients you are yet to sell

When you contact these clients, make sure you have a REASON to contact them and offer them some exciting news.

 

5 x Sold Follow Up Calls - Clients you have sold and have already picked up their car. 

When you call these clients, make it a relationship building call but also ask if they have any family, friends, colleagues that might be in the market for a car right now.

 

5 x Prospecting Calls - Clients that are in your dealership database from previous sale or service

When you call these clients, offer them something for nothing.

A great place to start is the people who have their car in for service today and tomorrow, and offer them a valuation of their vehicle.

 

If you can follow my 5 - 5 - 5 goal every day, you will be creating 15 opportunities TODAY, REGARDLESS of the enquiry that comes in today!
