Marchionne and Team Repayment of Outstanding Government Loans

It is with great pleasure to announce that Chrysler has repaid both US and Canadian government loans totaling $6.7 billion, in addition to $1.8 billion of interest and other considerations, more than 6 years ahead of schedule. Your dedicated attention to the new car and truck business allows us the ability to satisfy our agreement and fulfill our promise to the taxpayers.

Chrysler continues to gain traction in the marketplace with 13 consecutive months of year-over-year sales gains and attain market share they have not seen since early 2009. Collectively, they have made great strides toward achieving their world class partnership and regaining the attention and respect of many doubters.
