What’s interesting is unlike the Android background by Motorola and the Mac sleeve by Apple, is the store down the street didn’t sell them the product. So, why should dealers allow the auto parts store, who doesn’t sell OEM accessories or the car, to take the profits?
Bottom line, the personalization business is profitable no matter what industry you’re in. For the automotive industry it is a$ 32 billion business. As a dealer you should be the first to present the customer their choices for accessories.
