I have a post it note on my television.

I have a post it note on my bathroom cabinet.

I have a post it note on the car dashboard.

....in my purse.

...on my computer desktop.

It simply says "Start".

I mentioned the general idea of all of this in the "Activation Energy" post, but this is more simple. For me, one of the hardest things to do is to start something. 

Guys, I have ideas out the wazoo. Just no starting power. I'm a firm believer that there are thinkers, and then there are do'ers. I'm the thinker. Although if someone asks me to do something, I do it. Except for call Jerry Thibeau. SORRY JERRY. 

That being said, once I start something, I fight it to the death. I applied for college, scheduled an exam, applied for loans, started a savings account, picked up another job....all from just saying to myself "Start". 

Even in the morning when my alarm goes off and I want to kick it in it's face (Yes, clocks DO have a face), I try and remember to tell myself to "Just Start".

Start seems to be my "Power Word". The word that I hear and I instantly want to start doing something, or a lot of things. But usually it's one thing at a time.
