Reminder: It is Time for an Attitude Adjustment

I was once the bride of an enlisted sailor, who during the course of our marriage made the transition from enlisted to officer by finishing his college education.  Once he had become an officer; he tackled the challenge of completing flight school to become a Naval Aviator.  When he graduated from flight school and to represent his accomplishments, I had a pewter tankard engraved with these words, “Attitude is as important as Altitude when soaring with the eagles.”

You might work for a dealership that has the hottest brand in town.  You might have a slick CRM that automates most of your day and makes your look like a genius.  Your organization might have the strongest marketing plan with a dynamic website loaded with the most powerful SEO and SMO do-das on the market.  Not much of this matters if you do not have the right attitude.  You could have every advantage or none at all and your choice regarding your attitude is still the making or breaking factor in your overall success.  No matter if you are a salesperson, a manager or dealer principal you can transition your life to the next stage with a little attitude adjustment.

...and some of us are just more twisted than others....smile.  I like that life has such variety.  That there is more than one way to convey an idea.  Thanks, BC!

BC, it is one of my favorite quotes and I thought I was so clever when I came up with it...just to find out that I was actually paraphrasing a different quote...lol.

Bert, thank you for your comment.  I do not disagree with you.  Environment can be a strong indicator of behavior.  I have to admit that I have personal experience with changing my environment by changing my attitude too.  It is easier to change the environment first.  Sometimes, you don't have control over the environment and the only thing you can change is your attitude.  It is a tougher road to transverse but can be done.

Attitude is ALWAYS  a result of the ENVIRONMENT.....change the environment and you

change the attitude.

HOPE for a better day. (Have an oportunistic approach everyday); opportunities as well as problems exist for those looking for them. Problems are expenses, opportunites are profits. Love the blog Stephanie.
