Demotivation is the biggest problem any business can ever have. It is your biggest business success killer you can ever have. Have you recently questioned how motivated your staff is?  The motivated role models and examples of business excitement is not as affluent as you imagine. Motivation affects your staff and your productivity. Before you wonder what happened, I suggest taking quick inventory and ask what have you done lately to KICK the demotivation out of your business door??

My latest quote on my desk I will share , it brings much value to me when needed. Here it is: "Everybody ought to do at least two things each day that they hate to do, just for practice.”

Michael, that is a wonderful share and my story sharing would reflect very similar experiences as well.

Thank You ! Your current staff are well admired employees by many:-) It reflecst how much you

believe in them and appreciate them. Good efforts nice job!

By far the hardest thing for me has been the daily repetition and daily perseverance,

every day dragging your ass out of bed and not give in to the easy way out.

That will be the hardest daily commitment I expect to never loose - till this day its my most

disliked commitment I have ever made:-)

Great Post! Back in mid March I recognized the cancer of negativity had set in, I was hearing all the reasons why customers werent buying, why it was ok my team wasnt making calls, getting through, setting appointments etc. I initially began to react with some intense emotion but stopped, realizing that a negative approach would only demotivate my team even farther. On my 2hr drive home while mulling it over I came up with our '30 Day Positivity Challenge'! I wrote out a commitment for myself and my team to all read and sign that simply states for the month of April we are all working together to stay positive and encourage each other rather than criticize and complain about each other. I have been overwhelmed by the increase in my teams attitude, AND productivity, I have even noticed a drop in the seemingly harmless sarcasm as we all keep each other pumped up! I do my best to find inspirational quotes, pics and topics to share with my guys daily and have been Tweeting and posting as we go, even took some pic of us with the Grant Cardone 'No Negativity Allowed Here' sticker all over the dealership. You are completely right on that demotivation is the issue in need of the most attention in order to achieve ultimate success! We'll keep ya posted on our journey of positivity! :)

When I worked for Mark and Scott Gruwell at Courtesy Chevrolet, THE cardinal sin that was to be avoided at all times was anything in a sales meeting that might be demotivational... I always admired that aspect of their dealership culture and still do to this day.
