As I travel throughout my business days I come across way too many not smiling faces and unfortunately many of those faces are on showroom floors of dealerships.  A smile is the international sign for "I'm glad to see you".  I'm not talking about those fake smiles I see some people put on as part of the 'meet and greet".  I'm talking about those genuine smiles that come automatically to your face when you are genuinely glad to see someone.

Hear are some interesting facts about smiles:

1.  Generally when you give a smile to someone, you get one back.

2.  Smiles make both the giver and receiver feel good.

3   You have an unlimited supply of smiles.  No one ever runs out.

4.  You have absolute control over who you give a smile to and who you don't.

5.  Smiles are free.

Try it today.  Of course, smile at your customers....but how about smiling at everyone you interact with today?  How about starting your meetings with a smile.  Smile at your sales staff, smile at your service staff.  It's your choice.

This can be a stressful and hectic time of year for everyone (especially in the automotive business)...so make an extra effort to be nice and DON"T FORGET TO SMILE.  Remember what happened to the Grinch?  It just took him a bit longer than some to come to his reality.

Peace and have a blessed holiday season.
