Everyone is strong in certain areas. We all strive to get stronger and better at what we do on an everyday basis. Whatever process, you have adopted in your store, certain people are stronger in certain areas, than others. Training, adjusting processes, changing processes, is always a welcomed challenge in our industry. When we truly accept and adopt, soaring with our employees strengths, is when we truly break all barriers. People will grow at their craft, be more productive, and be much happier. The internal customer(employees), are the life blood of our industry. Employee retention, is the real challenge. If the employees are appreciated, know where they stand in your companys’ eyes, the rest is much easier to manage. This isn’t giving people a free pass, everyone should be held with responsibility, to take care of each other. This is huge. If your company stresses, it takes each individual employee, to energize one another in a positive manner, watch production sky rocket. Helping one another, complete daily tasks, goes a long way. This eliminates any divide amongst departments. This will create stronger positive energy, within the entire store. I have had this challenge over the past 10 years. I try to talk to everyone of my employees, everyday. I make sure they know, how important they are, and how important, going the extra mile, for one another, will pay them very, very well. Customers, pick up on it, immediately. The external customer, can feel the energy. This creates an incredible atmosphere, customers want to participate in. Now, we can do business, throughout the day. Soaring with each others strengths, gives us the energy and confidence, to build relationships with our customers. This creates a never ending foundation for both, the internal and external customer. Success is inevitable, the work place becomes exciting. NOW, SOAR WITH YOUR STRENGTHS. You will find the challenge more rewarding.
