1-Always review the buisness card of anyone you meet. Gee I can hear everyone now saying , Of course I look at them. DO YOU REALLY? Well you very first course of action , begins the very next day by taking out that buisness card and jotting down pertinent information from your conversation. Don't focus on dollar signs, think about how this person fits into your network and your chain of relationships. If you turn your head to this first commandment, you're liable to squander great oppurtunities
2-Create A File System" After you've gathered infomation about the new potential relationship creating an effective filing system is essential in building remarkable buisness relationships. It'a a well known fact that people do buiness with people they know, like and trust.
3-Follow-Up: More often than not when we meet someone new, if there isn't an immediate gratification, you follow-up will be dismal.
After you meet somone make sure you:
*Shoot the person a message either by e mail or text
*Mention how nice it was to meet them and alos introduce some of the best highlights of your conversation, as it will add credibility to your relationship

The information you gather from google and news articles is a great begininng. Always remember the more information you give the more likely you will get.
