The importance of "all the information" and how it powers growth in every dealership......

I just finished a meeting with one of my long term clients toady and wanted to share some details on how powerful "Accurate" information really is at a dealership.

First of all let me give you a little of the back story on this dealership and the challenges they faced before we started working with them.

This dealership had a service BDC with no process and was essentially a second switchboard handling thousands of calls with limited results. For the most part they were reacting to inbound calls and not really thinking "proactively" and had very little real "numbers" an what was going on in their dealership or BDC.

The first step of course was to "benchmark" the dealership and find out what was going on in terms of numbers. This was of course eye opening to the Service Manager, Sales Managers, and of course the Owner.

The Next Step was to train the team, measure their activity using their CRM and Proactive Dealer Solutions "Tracker"and grow the Department and the Dealership.

Over the last 8 months we have grown the Service Department of two GM stores and their Harley Davidson Store and we are now growing their Sales Department as well.

The most important thing however is not just growth, it's a better understanding of what is going on at the dealerships so that the Owner and Management Team can make short and long term plans and measure the results to maximize the growth of the Dealerships.

But most importantly the Owner, Managers, BDC Managers and staff can get the information they need real time in a simple format to grow their business.....
