Hello Fellow Dealer Elite members and friends.
It has been a while since I have had the time to put together a blog post of Dealer Elite because it has been a very busy year so far and to be honest I have not had the time. I took a look at the Auto News program today and to be honest was very surprised to see that companies from Chrysler Dodge Jeep Fiat customers are reaching the CEO of the company.
I must say I was also very happy that Sergio Marchionne is taking action and is forcing dealerships to go through a Boot Camp and change the way they deal with customers. Car Salespeople may have been made by the industry, but how we treat customers not only impacts sales it impact how customers view the dealer the brand and of course CSI and repeat and referral business as well.
Proactive Dealer Solutions has been training Salespeople, Managers, Service staff, and dedicated teams of Call center professionals for over 20 years now. We have found that the only way to grow a business is to treat customers right and that level of service needs to happen when customers visit the dealership.
One of the biggest problems with training Salespeople and Service Writers is that bad habits have set it and they think that they have a better way of doing things. Dealerships need to break these habits and insist on the highest level of service possible. I am very happy to see that carmakers are now forcing dealers to change the bad habits that have been impacting dealers and customer’s perception of the business for years.
