Either management does not know the stats --- or --- does not want to accept them - or - is making enough money on cruise control to be satisfied. It is hard to believe so many dealers knowingly ignore the inherent infrastructure defects that the stats illuminate. WHY ? If there are any DPs or GM out there --- could you provide some clue why you accept such weak internet sales performance ? WATCH THIS VIDEO --- his numbers are accurate. I see the same weak floor / internet sales / bdc integration at every store I work with.
Shopper / Buyer behavior has changed but the Sales Process management supports has not responded. Do not be fooled by the high percentage of floor traffic that buy. It is a "Fool's Paradise" when you see the numbers of how many do not make contact or come-in.The showroom battle is won or lost long before the showroom.
