Jim Ziegler asks...
I am hearing a lot of discussion about True Car and ZAG. I continually scratch my head and wonder if desperate dealers are doing the marketing limbo "How Low Can You Go?"
Are we so bad at what we do that we have to line up and pay vendors to lose money? AND, who is giving these people access to your data that is used against you?
Who owns these companies and what might be their ulterior motive? Sometimes I ask questions to which I already know the answer.
Am I wrong?

It is so gratifying so many dealers and managers stopped me at the convention thanked me for my leadership in the TrueCar fight
Thank you. Best wishes for a great year for you and yours as well
You will have your hands full, love 'em and squeeze 'em every chance you get..... time will go fast and there aren't any redos. Best of everything to you and your family sir.
Thanks Thomas. I agree, although I may not be thinking that as much when they both turn 13 this year :)
Have a good trip Michael.....all kids are terrific but twins are special!
@ Tom I was hoping it wasn't me dying....my wife and twin daughters do expect me home after the convention.
I am metaphorically referring of course to the demise of TrueCar in my previous post.....
@ Michael. It is easy to look folks up nowadays; it's also easy to get bogus information if you look stuff up.
I wish you much success, Michael.
