Jim Ziegler asks...
I am hearing a lot of discussion about True Car and ZAG. I continually scratch my head and wonder if desperate dealers are doing the marketing limbo "How Low Can You Go?"
Are we so bad at what we do that we have to line up and pay vendors to lose money? AND, who is giving these people access to your data that is used against you?
Who owns these companies and what might be their ulterior motive? Sometimes I ask questions to which I already know the answer.
Am I wrong?
What do you think... JIM

I just went to Clearbook.com and learned that my 2001 Acura with 175000 miles on it should be worth (in trade)about $3500 OR I can sell it on my own for $5400. That's fantastic and way more than I thought! It only needs 4 tires and a new headlight, it's been in an accident and the transmission is about to go... but thankfully we have clearbook for me to use in my favor against the salesman at the next store I land in. All I figured it was worth was about $2000 on a good day... Great huh~ Where would we be without Clearbook!
for some reason my Business model and TrueCars don't gel, ,mine calls for a profit as often as possible on every deal, new and used, and also in parts and service, i do not need some one else telling my customers or my Staff that Profit is a Dirty word.......
i avoid almost all lead providers for the same reason, i do not need to pay for a knife in my backside on any lead, and for the same lead to be sold 4-5 times
Present and accounted for......Go Texas...(TADA).....
A good source told me that Texas (TADA) is looking at TrueCar . . . strongly. More to come!
Okay Tribe! Roll Call! What news is happening whilst most others were sleeping? Check in here if you're back in the game. JIM
