Zig Ziglar passed away today after a short bout of pneumonia. Physically he may have departed, yet his spirit will endure for generations to come. No matter where we were spiritually, personally, or professionally, we could always be assured that Zig had an encouraging word for us-the appropriate quotes coming just when we needed them most. Steve Jobs wanted to put "A dent in the Universe;" Zig put "A dent in our soul." Thank you Zig for keeping me up, when I was at my lowest.

John, what's amazing in reading what you and many others have posted-despite his fame, he was so accessible. He walked among those he lead. With Zig teaching Sunday school, I'm sure he had 100% attendance-I know I wouldnt want to miss a Sunday. What a great story and cherished memories you will have. Thanks for sharing.
I was priveliged to be part of a sunday School class he taught for 2 years....the 40 people in that class were captivated by him each and every week...I cherish that time I spent with him...
@ Troy, I don't know anyone in our industry that Zig didn't touch.
@Bobby, I try to live with that mantra everyday and when I fail, I have to remember "failure is an event, not a person." Rock on brother.
Sad.... One of the first books I read on sales was the Secret to Closing the Sale.
