A visionary with a passion for the automobile industry and third generation automobile dealer, Vogel and his family have owned and operated San Francisco Bay Area dealerships and leasing companies dating back to 1934. Vogel co-founded Sextant Technologies in 1999, the company developed a drop in automotive portal with the main product being mycarmyway.com featuring a tool to help the user locate a used car by searching 10 sites and aggregating the results utilizing scraping techniques. He then founded Vogel Strategies in 2003, a boutique Mergers & Acquisitions and digital marketing firm. Vogel has led over 50 buy-sell transactions representing billions in revenue and brokered key technology partnerships with dealers and OEM’s.
